Patient Power with Andrew Schorr is a cancer webcast that represents the patient's point of view.  Dr. Mahvi will discuss the current treatments for colon cancer and pancreatic cancer, including if post-surgery therapies are effective and who should receive them.  Dr. Mahvi also will discuss the relationship of surgical outcomes to the volume of surgeries performed. 

David Mahvi, MD, is chief of the division of GI/Oncologic Surgery in the department of Surgery at Northwestern Memorial and the James R. Hines, MD, Professor of Surgery at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine.
