Additional Info:	Last February, friends of Brady Stanton, a 40-year-old father of two who died of pancreatic cancer in August of 2006, organized a poker tournament and party in Kansas City to honor Brady's memory and raise $30,000 to fund a tissue and serum bank for pancreatic cancer research at the University of Kansas (KU) Cancer Center. The event far exceeded its initial goal, raising more than $150,000 and funding not only the tissue and serum bank, but also an award for a pancreatic cancer research pilot program, and the first Brady Stanton Fellowship for pancreatic cancer research. The poker tournament begins at 11:00 a.m., with an evening party to follow at 6:00 p.m. at Drexel Hall (3301 Baltimore). Please note that the proceeds from this event will not benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
