The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network will be holding our third annual Advocacy Day from Monday, March 30th, 2009 to Tuesday March 31st, 2009 in Washington, D.C.

We invite all those who have been impacted by pancreatic cancer to join us in Washington, DC to learn how to advocate for increased research for this disease and to tell your Members of Congress and their staff how important pancreatic cancer research funding is to you!

As part of the event, we will hold training sessions on how to conduct a meeting with your elected officials, so NO previous experience with advocacy is necessary!  The primary requirement for participating is that you are excited about educating your elected officials about pancreatic cancer, our organization, and the need for more federal funding for pancreatic cancer research.  We also ask that you commit to a full day of training on Monday, March 30th and plan to be in meetings until 5:00pm on Tuesday, March 31st. There are no registration fees for this event.

We hope that as many of you as possible will join us in Washington, DC as we carry our message to Congress.  For anyone who is not able to join us in person, we encourage you to be involved in the event by participating in our National Call-In.
