Chopivsky: “Peter set the bar so high in his medical practice
that 2½ years later patients have still not found a physician.
He believed in practicing medicine instead of running a

business”… in “knowing” his patients… he listened to them
all. He believed in the partnership of patient and physician…
in kindness and compassion… in treating conservatively…
in giving back to his community in spite of having given
all day long at the office…. He taught by example and
loved seeing people learn and better themselves through
education. He believed in people when they didn’t believe in
themselves. He spent each and every day in his office healing
and touching lives and bringing hope to his patients. He was
a caring and compassionate physician and human being.
