Regional Affiliate Manager, Community Outreach
The Regional Affiliate Manager will be responsible for leading and supporting diverse volunteer affiliates across the assigned region to ensure alignment of Affiliate activities with organizational goals,strategies and branding. This position will ensure sustainable affiliate development in all key areas (education and outreach, advocacy, media and recruitment) by providing support, best practices training in recruitment and organizational development. Additional responsibilities include sustaining current affiliates and community representatives, representing the organization to volunteers and other diverse audiences, developing tools and resources to assist affiliates in their strategic growth.
Bachelors Degree in Business, Non-Profit Management, Communications, or a related field or equivalent experience required. Successful candidates will have a minimum four years directly related experience in community outreach and mobilization programs, volunteer management, training development, facilitation, presentation, or marketing(preferably in programs that are regional/national in scope). Must possess demonstrable success in leading and managing teams, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, substantial experience in facilitating training sessions and a friendly, positive, solutions-oriented and service demeanor with the ability to build and cultivate strong relationships with volunteers, donors and staff. Additional key skills include ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems (Raiser’s Edge preferred). Must be willing to travel (including weekends and evenings.
