Our leadership team is comprised of individuals from our national office in Los Angeles and our government affairs office in Washington DC. This team includes a group of dedicated individuals, several who have been personally touched by the loss of a loved one from pancreatic cancer. Our leadership team comes with years of experience working for some of the largest non-profit and for profit organizations in the United States. These include, the Susan G Komen Foundation, The American Heart Association, Microsoft Corporation, Deloitte and Touche. American Cancer Society and others. The leadership team drives our mission from our national headquarters in Los Angeles, California and from our Government Affairs office in Washington, DC. Our dedicated and hard working staff rounds out the organization.
The National Board of Directors is comprised of committed individuals with exceptional expertise in business, higher education, fundraising, legislation and legal issues. Each member of our board of directors has lost one or more loved ones to pancreatic cancer.
The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) is comprised of leading cancer researchers from institutions across the United States. The SAB provides advice, scientific expertise, and leadership to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network with regard to the research and scientific program goals and initiatives of the organization.
Emeritus Scientific Advisory Board (ESAB) is comprised of members that have served on our Scientific Advisory Board. They continue to provide advice, scientific expertise and leadership to the organization when called upon and they will always be an important part of our family.
The Medical Advisory Board (MAB) includes clinicians who specialize in the care of people with pancreatic cancer. The MAB advises the organization on specific medical and clinical aspects of pancreatic cancer as it relates to our programs.
The Emeritus Medical Advisory Board (EMAB) is comprised of members that have served on our Medical Advisory Board. They continue to provide advice, clinical expertise and leadership to the organization when called upon and they will always be an important part of our family.
The Volunteer Advisory Council (VAC) is a group of Pancreatic Cancer Action Network volunteers who provide feedback and advice to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network with regard to the Community Outreach program, volunteer affiliate network and other initiatives of the organization.
