Support Our Events

Support an Event through our volunteer efforts across the country. You can participate in a local event and help to raise awareness and funding for the fight against pancreatic cancer.  This is a wonderful way to get involved on a local level with our very dedicated and passionate volunteers across the country.  For more information on what events are happening in your area click here.

“I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer just last year and it was devastating to me.  I knew that I wanted to get involved in the fight against pancreatic cancer but did not know how.  I called the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and asked if there were any efforts in my town.  Sure enough, there was an affiliate not too far from where I live and they were planning their annual PurpleStride walk to raise awareness and funding for the fight against pancreatic cancer.  I went to the next meeting and was so grateful for the opportunity to get involved and help ease some of my grief by feeling like I was making a difference.  I was really excited too, that now I have the opportunity to go to Capitol Hill next year with the advocacy group for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and let my voice be heard to help get more government funding for pancreatic cancer.  I feel like I have found a new “family”!”
