Local Highlights
PurpleStride Jacksonville 2011
Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, PurpleStride Jacksonville 2011 was cancelled. While this year's event didn't work out, we're already looking forward to next year's event! Our spirits have not been dampened!

National PurpleLight Vigil for Hope
PurpleLight Jacksonville took place on November 20, 2011. This event happened in conjunction with over 50 additional PurpleLight Vigils across the country, honoring loved ones who have faced pancreatic cancer and commemorating November as Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.

Volunteer
There are many ways you can support the local fight and join other friendly volunteers committed to fighting pancreatic cancer. Whether you have ten minutes or are looking for a more extensive commitment, we have a role for you. Our volunteers focus on several key areas: raising general awareness, media, education and outreach to healthcare professionals, advocacy and fundraising and awareness events. Learn more. We are currently looking to fill the following positions:
- Affiliate Coordinator
- Education & Outreach Coordinator
- Advocacy Coordinator
