VOLUNTEER LOCALLY

As a volunteer with your local affiliate or community representative, you join a nationwide network of volunteers in more than 60 affiliates, focused on advancing research, supporting patients and creating hope in five key areas.

	PUBLIC AWARENESS – The more people who know and fight pancreatic cancer, the sooner we will end it. Help raise awareness in your community.		ADVOCACY - Help us increase federal funding for pancreatic cancer research by contacting your elected officials electronically and in person!
	MEDIA - Educate your local media about pancreatic cancer, fundraising and awareness events, and human interest stories.		EVENTS - Help plan a fundraising or awareness event, from logistics to entertainment, sponsorships and more.
	EDUCATION & OUTREACH - Reach out to health professionals to spread the word about our organization's activities and resources, including the Patient and Liaison Services (PALS) program.
