Better treatments, and ultimately cures, for people with pancreatic cancer begin with scientific research. The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is committed to advancing pancreatic cancer research through strategic actions.
To date, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network has funded nearly $5 million in research grants through a rigorous peer-review process. In addition, our advocacy efforts have contributed to an increase in National Cancer Institute funding for pancreatic cancer research from $17 million in 1999 to $87 million in 2008.
