Early Detection, Diagnosis and Prognosis

Grants classified within this field of interest focus on the discovery of strategies for early detection, diagnosis and prognosis of pancreatic cancer. According to the Common Scientific Outline, these projects deal with one or more of the following research topics: (1) technology development and/or marker discovery; (2) technology and/or marker evaluation with respect to fundamental parameters of method; (3) technology and/or marker testing in a clinical setting; and (4) resources and infrastructure related to early detection, diagnosis or prognosis.
