OUR core values

At the heart of our mission are our core values, defining everything we do at PanCAN. They’re what make us successful and they’re what set us apart. With these five principles as our guide, we’ll create a world in which every patient with pancreatic cancer thrives.

Deliver Excellence

We are steadfast in our commitment to provide the highest standard of quality and innovation in everything that we do. We set goals that drive us to reach beyond our comfort levels and we push ourselves to exceed them.

Service and Gratitude

We are committed to providing exemplary service and expressing gratitude so that everyone’s experience with us is positive and meaningful. We do our very best to deliver on that commitment.

Accountability

We know our responsibilities and we don’t make excuses or blame others for our mistakes. Simply put, we see it, own it, solve it and do it.

Team

We are dedicated to having a diverse team and working together in a spirit of community and inclusion to challenge and support each other to be the very best. An emphasis on team achievements and pride in individual accomplishments contributes to our collective successes.

Sparkle Spirit

We are inspired by our constituents every day. Their courage and determination remind us that unrelenting optimism and hope can motivate and inspire us all to reach our goals. If we add a little “sparkle spirit,” we can achieve anything.

A Message from Our CEO

Now more than ever, we all have an obligation to combat racism and to consider our personal biases. At PanCAN, we will continue to make sure our culture and environment stands for equality, diversity and inclusion for everyone – our employees, volunteers and constituents.

Defeating pancreatic cancer remains our urgent mission. PanCAN stands against racism and social injustice in all forms, and we believe inclusion of everyone leads to better solutions. Our goal is to reach every individual impacted by pancreatic cancer regardless of their race and background, and we will continue to strive to do so.

We are committed to doing our part to end racism and to make a difference in the lives of all people impacted by pancreatic cancer. We are opposed to hate of any kind.
