For people who do not have an in-person pancreatic cancer group locally or who prefer to stay at home, telephone support groups as well as online support groups and message boards are great options. Often, telephone and online support groups are facilitated by a professional counselor and offer the same benefits as in-person groups. Message boards provide a convenient way to post questions or comments and read others’ responses.
