Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James) is combining groundbreaking research with the latest technology to find innovative treatments for patients with cancer, including those with pancreatic cancer.
And their staff’s commitment to their patients comes through loud and clear with their longtime support of PanCAN PurpleStride.
“We are excited to see our patients and their families at PanCAN PurpleStride Columbus for the seventh straight year,” said Team Captain Karla Richards, RN.
Their PurpleStride team, called The James Morehouse Tumornators, has grown from three members in their first year of participation to 27 members, all who look forward to walking and to sharing in the applause that their patients receive on stage at this inspiring celebration.
OSUCCC – James Surgical Oncologist Susan Tsai, MD, MHS was profiled recently on the Ohio State Health & Discovery website. Dr. Trai is a pancreatic cancer specialist and researcher.
In the profile, Dr Tsai talks about her clinical trials research and how she shares PanCAN’s patient-centric vision. “I recognize that I’m taking care of people who are going through a tough diagnosis, and every day I get to see their amazing resiliency and the strength of the human spirit,” she said.
