Invest in a comprehensive strategy, get a comprehensive cure.
Significant progress has been made against other deadly diseases by having long-term vision, funding a wide variety of research and creating comprehensive research communities. Heart disease, breast cancer and other killers are less fatal today due to strategies that supported researchers over the long-term, connected their work and quickly brought discoveries into medical innovations and practices. The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is making sure the same thing happens for pancreatic cancer.
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is developing a comprehensive pancreatic cancer research community and working to provide the tools and resources this community needs in order to make scientific breakthroughs.
Widespread, ongoing research is the only way to know it, fight it, and end it.
Through our research grants and our advocacy efforts to increase federal funding for pancreatic cancer research, we attract investigators with innovative ideas and brilliant early career scientists to study pancreatic cancer. By recruiting the brightest scientists with the most novel ideas, we continue to build a comprehensive research community, poised to make significant scientific discoveries.
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network convenes the research community.
We bring together the research community -- scientists, government, and industry -- to share information and resources and to form collaborations.
