2021 Research Grant Recipients

Home Research Research Grants Program Grants Awarded Grants Awarded by Year 2021 Research Grant Recipients

Thanks to the generosity of donors and supporters, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) is funding 13 research grants, totaling nearly $3 million, in 2021. PanCAN invested $22 million in research in fiscal year 2021, bringing our total research investment to more than $149 million to date, which includes the organization’s Research Grants Program and leading-edge scientific and clinical initiatives.

Grantees were selected through a peer-review process. Seven early-career investigators received Career Development Awards and two investigators received Fellowships to help build their pancreatic cancer research focus. PanCAN also awarded two extensions to previous recipients of PanCAN Precision Medicine Targeted Grants to continue their work toward more effective and personalized treatment options, as well as provided funding for two research projects focused on early detection and improving diversity and equity in understanding pancreatic cancer genetic risk factors.

Please join us in welcoming this year’s grantees:
