Today, June 19, our CEO and president Julie Fleshman, JD, MBA, spoke to more than 650 passionate volunteers and advocates representing all 50 states, who traveled to Washington D.C. for PanCAN’s 10th anniversary of National Pancreatic Cancer Advocacy Day.
Watch her opening remarks from Facebook Live:
Tomorrow, June 20, these same supporters, including over 100 survivors, will stand tall on Capitol Hill and urge Congress to make cancer research a national priority. Their voices and stories will help raise visibility of the nation’s toughest cancer, while advocating for improved outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients.
For those unable to attend Advocacy Day this year, you can still Step up, Stand Tall and Act Boldly.
Join conversations happening on social media for Pancreatic Cancer Action Week.
